Competitive Edge Bowling Sports Consulting

Offering a wide variety of methods of bowler analysis for any level of play, from first time bowlers to those athletes with a well-established game.

Private lessons begin with a complete bowler profile including, but not limited to:

š       Equipment evaluation (Bowling ball(s), shoes, hand/wrist supports, etc.

š       Reviewing any physical restrictions

š       Assessing  bowling goals

š       Stance

š       Approach (side and back perspective)

š       Finish position

š       Release and ball travel characteristics (axis tilt, axis rotation, speed, etc.)

These three “focus points” are documented and provided to the bowler following each lesson.

State of Art Video Analysis Equipment

Upon request, a video analysis session can be conducted. It includes ball motion, speed, rev. rate and axis information. Regular and stop-motion evaluation of the bowlers’ entire game, together with timing, arm ’swing plane’ motion and release. Views from the side and back offer a detailed perspective. A copy of the video will be provided at the end of the lesson and can be viewed on computer or DVD player.
